Playtech, one of the leading online casino software providers that powers popular online casinos which include Bet365 Casino, Winner Casino, City Club Casino and Crown Europe Casino, revealed impressive growth in revenues when posting its numbers for the first half of the year until 30th June, 2014.
Total revenues were up 21.2% to €214.4 million in comparison to last year’s €176.8 million for the same period.
Playtech also reported on a 28.2% increase of adjusted EBITDA to €97.6 million as well as a 44.8% increase to €96.8 million in adjusted profit.
The group’s cash balances at the end of the period stood at an amount of €366 million after paying a special dividend to shareholders.
Playtech continued to move into new markets and signed up with existing brands in the first half of 2014.
The group signed a lucrative deal with the Dutch Holland Casino brand in terms of which it provides casino, Live Casino, poker and bingo as the Netherlands moves into a newly regulated industry.
Playtech also signed a white label turnkey agreement with Trinity Mirror and completed the Ladbrokes migration to its platform.
Management also signed a new agreement with a top media brand in Italy as well as with one of South America’s largest gambling groups, the Mexican Caliente.
